About the Instructor

 

Phaedra  first discovered Bellydance in 2006 while attending a fitness program at a local college. After that class, her passing interest evolved into a wild obsession, and she began studying the various styles of bellydance just for fun.  In 2009, Phaedra began her formal training under the instruction of Jane “Zarifa” Copeland and has traveled across the country (and outside of it), taking from Master Instructors (American, Canadian, Egyptian, and Brazilian) to perfect her dance. She has since advanced to the level of Professional, but will always be a devoted and life-long student of this centuries-old dance form. Phaedra knows no greater joy than sharing her knowledge of (and passion for) this art. As such, she is very excited to introduce programs which take easy-to-grasp bellydance fundamentals, and turn them into a belly-shaping cardio routine fit for everybody (and every body)!
